Hemmed in by claws, concrete, and bad memories, the survivors make a final push to turn the bunker’s own secrets against it. Jinx’s “guided” bomb-making, Lance’s stubborn practicality, and the Man’s haunted past all collide in a desperate plan to bury the horrors below—before they spill out into the world. But even if they claw their way back to the surface, the nightmare doesn’t end at the treeline; the blood-soaked road out of the woods may be just as lethal as the bunker they’re trying to escape.
About the Chronicle
Slasher Flick – Bunker of the Lost takes Twin Cities by Night’s slasher chaos underground—into a collapsed Nazi-era bunker where whispers of occult experiments, half-remembered legends, and frantic survival collide. Each character brings their own eccentricities—paranoia, bravado, mystical nonsense, and stoic silence—but none of them are prepared for what stalks the dark.
This chronicle embraces everything Slasher Flick is built for: outrageous character archetypes, escalating danger, improvised mayhem, and bursts of bloody action. The bunker itself becomes a labyrinth of rust, mold, shadows, and forgotten horrors, pushing the group deeper into claustrophobic terror as something hunts them from the dark.
If you like splatter-movie energy, weird survivors, unpredictable twists, and creatures that should never have been unearthed, Bunker of the Lost delivers a grim and entertaining descent straight into the heart of slasher madness.

Slasher Flick "Bunker of the Lost" Chapter 2: Teeth in the Dark
Wednesday Jul 29, 2020
Wednesday Jul 29, 2020
The backpackers quickly learn the bunker isn’t just old concrete and bad memories. Skittering shapes in the dark become clawed, lizard-like predators that hunt them through rusted corridors, ruined labs, and dust-choked barracks. A panicked escape attempt, a desperate stand in an old armory, and a wrong turn into the bowels of the complex all drive home the same truth: whatever was bred down here never left.
As the group splits, reunites, and blunders deeper, legends of Nazi experiments stop being jokes and start feeling like explanations. Above ground, the forest is no safer. Below, something much larger is beginning to wake.

A quiet backpacking trip through Eastern Europe takes a hard turn when a mudslide forces the group off the marked trail and deep into a stretch of forest that locals avoid for a reason. What begins as inconvenience quickly becomes unease—dead deer parts hanging in trees, strange whispers in the woods, and an old drunk insisting that “Nazi evil” waits ahead.
The trail leads to a forgotten structure half-swallowed by the earth: a crumbling World War II bunker, its dark entrance yawning open beneath tangled roots and dripping stone. Some of the group wants to turn back, others want to push forward, and one silent stranger seems drawn to the place with unsettling purpose.
Inside, rotting bunks, rusted tools, and long-dead remnants of soldiers hint at something terrible sealed away long ago. Shadows skitter at the edge of the flashlight beams. Something moves in the hallways—too fast, too low to the ground, and far too hungry.
Episode 1 sets the stage for Bunker of the Lost with eerie tension, dark humor, and the first signs that the group is no longer alone down here. The deeper they explore, the clearer it becomes:
This bunker didn’t stay lost.
It was waiting.

With Fornjot unraveling around them and the oracle no longer content to stay boxed away in nested simulspaces, Vector, Nila, and Maxine race to salvage what they can: egos, evidence, and whatever future Firewall might still have. As they uncover what the oracle truly wants—and what it’s willing to do to get it—the sentinels are forced to confront a final choice between impossible options: knowledge or safety, duty or survival. In the end, the fate of a moon, a weapon, and a newborn god of code comes down to a single decision and how much of themselves they’re willing to burn to see tomorrow.
About the Chronicle
Think Before Asking is an Eclipse Phase scenario (originally written by Anders Sandberg and adapted to second edition) run on the scum swarm Failance Recourse, a tangled mass of salvaged habitats drifting around Saturn. In this story, the player characters are Firewall sentinels embedded in a lawless, reputation-based society full of experimental morphs, illicit tech, and fringe philosophy.
Firewall suspects that a quantum-triggered antimatter device—capable of being detonated instantly from anywhere, by someone who can never be traced—has been smuggled into or through the swarm. The chronicle follows Vector, Nila, and Maxine as they navigate scum politics, shady pilots, and fragile social networks, trying to locate the weapon, understand who built it, and decide what to do with something too dangerous for anyone to own. It’s a mix of investigation, social engineering, and transhuman horror, steeped in Eclipse Phase’s trademark questions about identity, power, and how far you go to stop an existential threat.

Eclipse Phase “Think Before Asking” Chapter 8: Exit Strategy
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
Wednesday Jul 22, 2020
With a Reaper morph guarding the reactor and lethal radiation between them and the fail-safe, the sentinels are forced to admit that brute force won’t save Fornjot—or anyone on it. As the truth about the “oracle” crystallizes and the scale of the disaster becomes clear, Vector, Nila, and Maxine weigh personal ethics against Firewall’s priorities, debating how much they can salvage, who they can take with them, and what it really means to “secure” a threat you can’t destroy. Their only way forward may be to cut their losses, pocket the egos and intel they can, and walk away from a problem that might be too big for three people with guns and good intentions.

Eclipse Phase “Think Before Asking” Chapter 7: The Ones We Can Still Save
Sunday Jul 19, 2020
Sunday Jul 19, 2020
With one “penitent” taken down from the cross and another zealot drifting into the chapel, the team is forced to choose who they believe—and how much violence they’re willing to unleash in a place already drowning in suffering. Guided by a wounded researcher who insists they all should be dead, Vector, Nila, and Maxine trace the broken hierarchy of this covenant toward a missing specialist and the truth behind Project Wolf Father. What they find in the living quarters is not a mastermind, but the wreckage of someone who’s seen too much—and now the sentinels have to decide how far they’ll go to salvage an ego, a mission, and whatever slim chance remains to prevent an engineered apocalypse.

A rented car points to a stranger’s name and a paper trail kept behind a polite smile. The crew works the lead, plays it cool, and learns which doors open with the right words—and which slam without a warrant. Just when the night feels routine, a late-news broadcast cuts through the quiet with sirens, wreckage, and a chill that hits harder than the cold.

A license plate points toward the airport, but answers wait behind a scuffed door on the first floor. In the glow of an overworked TV and a mother’s worry, the crew seeks truth from Toby’s closest friend—careful not to break what little trust remains. Between the hush of carpeted corridors and the winter air outside, rumors harden into leads, and a name from the school’s past starts to matter.

A cold wind follows warmer truths. After a lead at the school turns stomachs and tempers, a shadow on the road forces the crew to decide how far they’ll go to look the darkness in the eye—and how to keep each other safe when the hunt starts hunting back. New resolve hardens, lines are drawn, and a number scratched in a notebook may be the first thread that finally pulls.

Eclipse Phase “Think Before Asking” Chapter 6: Cruciform Confessions
Friday Jul 10, 2020
Friday Jul 10, 2020
On the ice-scarred moon of Fornjot, the team pushes deeper into the covenant’s habitat, tracing glitching simulspaces, broken security, and eerily cheerful religious adverts toward the truth. A covert scouting run through the chapel reveals a horrific “ritual” of pain, penance, and repetition enacted by nearly identical child morphs—echoes of the same ego punishing itself in the name of salvation. With Vector confirming that their quarry lies entombed somewhere beneath the complex, Nila and Maxine must decide how far they’re willing to go, who—if anyone—can be trusted with what they know, and whether the most dangerous thing on Fornjot is the buried device or the desperate believer who wants everything to end.
