The episode traces Marco’s formative years — from the academic halls of Harvard to the social and financial networks of Boston’s elite — where his loyalty to the Giovanni family begins to crystallize into something both sacred and suffocating.
What begins as a story of ambition and belonging slowly bends toward unease, as Marco’s world of order and control reveals something older, colder, and entirely inescapable. Rita’s Claim continues Eidolon’s descent into personal horror — an intimate journey through family, faith, and the seductive pull of power.
About the Chronicle
“Eidolon” is the fourth major arc in the Twin Cities by Night Vampire: the Masquerade continuity — following Negligence, Homecoming, and Dread — yet it also stands alone as an introspective, horror-laced drama.
Set in the fall of 2010, Eidolon explores themes of death, obligation, and the unseen cost of power. The story follows Marco Giovanni, a necromancer drawn into the Twin Cities by the command of an elder, where he must expand his clan’s reach while contending with his own haunted past.
A duet chronicle between Adam (as Marco Giovanni) and Chris (as Storyteller), Eidolon continues Twin Cities by Night’s tradition of exploring the personal horror at the heart of Vampire: the Masquerade — this time, through the eyes of one man bound by ghosts both living and dead.
