Exalted "The Tomb of Dreams" Chapter 2: The Warden of a Broken Prison
Wednesday Dec 18, 2019
Wednesday Dec 18, 2019
In the wake of their first battle on the storm-lashed island, the newly forged circle has a moment to breathe—and to truly see one another. As Solars’ animas flare and fade, uneasy camaraderie forms around shared purpose and very different ideals. A radiant spirit named Tio offers guidance and speaks of three hidden treasures that might be the key to leaving the Tomb of Dreams, but his help comes with gaps and half-truths.
Following his lead into a tide-scored cavern, the circle delves into the dark and meets a vast, serpentine presence that seems less interested in killing them than in understanding them. Their first artifact waits in the depths, but claiming it only raises more questions. When they return to the surface, a new figure—a self-appointed “warden” of this place—confronts them with a chilling revelation: the island is not just a tomb, but a prison, and the power bound here may be far more dangerous than any treasure is worth.

Exalted "The Tomb of Dreams" Chapter 1: The Wolf at the Water’s Edge
Sunday Dec 15, 2019
Sunday Dec 15, 2019
On a night that feels torn from someone else’s memory, four newly Exalted Solars find themselves ankle-deep on a storm-wracked reef, the sea stretching into endless darkness behind them and a smoking volcano looming ahead. Moments ago, they were entering a forgotten cave in a distant forest, following dreams of First Age ruins and echoes of past lives—but now the world has skipped a chapter. As Caral Fire Orchid, Faka Kun, I Seleamu, and Vulfur struggle to make sense of how they arrived together-yet-separate in this impossible place, the island answers with a predator born of smoke, sorrow, and teeth. Their first steps into the Tomb of Dreams will test not just their power, but the fragile trust between strangers bound by destiny.

13th Age "Siegebreakers" The Final Chapter: Last Light Over Rehberg
Wednesday Nov 27, 2019
Wednesday Nov 27, 2019
The siege has tightened, and there are no more easy choices left. With the forces of the Diabolist and the Lich King both closing in on Rehberg, Percy, Hakar, and Jace find themselves at the very heart of the storm, standing between a terrified village and an artifact that could reshape the war—or destroy the people they’re trying to protect.
Old wounds from Forstor Nagar echo through the mountains as desperate defenders brace for what may be their final stand. Percy’s forged faith is tested against the sheer weight of sacrifice, Hakar must decide what “the Path” really demands when there are no clean victories, and Jace’s chaotic magic is pushed to the breaking point as reality itself seems to fray around the artifact.
In this finale, alliances are strained, lines are drawn, and the scouts of the Empire must confront the cost of holding the line at the edge of the world—when saving Rehberg might mean letting something far worse slip free.
About the Chronicle
Siegebreakers is a 13th Age war chronicle set ten years after the fall of Forstor Nagar, where the scars of that battle have reshaped the world. Demon hordes serving the Diabolist, undead legions marching under the new Lich King, and the strained armies of the Empire all grind against each other in a brutal three-sided conflict.
Rehberg is a small, isolated village caught in the path of that war, guarding an artifact that could tilt the balance between these powers. Across this story, our scouts must navigate desperate defenses, clashing factions, and impossible choices as they fight not just to break a siege—but to decide who, if anyone, gets to claim the weapon hidden in the mountains.

13th Age "Siegebreakers" Chapter 1: Shadows at the Palisade
Sunday Nov 24, 2019
Sunday Nov 24, 2019
As war closes in on the remote mountain village of Rehberg, three unlikely scouts arrive ahead of the Imperial relief force: Percy, the forge-born devotee of righteous faith; Hakar, the dragonkin monk who walks the Path; and Jace, a chaos-touched gnome whose magic is as unpredictable as the battlefield they’re walking into.
Sent to learn who besieges Rehberg and whether the town can still be saved, the trio find nervous villagers, makeshift defenses, and ominous bodies already piled beneath the palisade. What begins as a cautious approach quickly turns into a desperate first test of their courage, their teamwork, and their strange array of powers—before they’ve even stepped fully inside the walls.

Slasher Flick "A Long Way Down" The Final Chapter: Where the Air Gets Thin
Friday Nov 15, 2019
Friday Nov 15, 2019
As night closes in on K8, the climb stops being a competition and becomes a reckoning. The remaining contestants push into the upper reaches of the mountain, chasing the promise of $75,000 and the growing rumor of something else hidden in the heights—an old expedition, a missing treasure, and a power that might tilt the odds for whoever claims it first.
A crashed plane clinging to the cliff face, a cave lined with decades-old bones, and the half-mad warnings of a lone survivor all point to one grim truth: people have been dying on this mountain for a very long time, and not just because of the weather.
Paranoia, exhaustion, and obsession collide as loyalties fracture and motives sharpen. Some climbers still believe this is about prize money and bragging rights. Others are beginning to suspect that someone has been shaping this “contest” from the shadows all along—and that reaching the summit might mean stepping into the final act of a story that started long before any of them arrived.
At the top of K8, where the air gets thin and the drop is unforgiving, the question stops being who will win and becomes what is this all really for?
About the Chronicle
Slasher Flick – “A Long Way Down” is a high-altitude horror story using the Slasher Flick rules, where players juggle multiple characters in a fast, cinematic, and darkly humorous bloodbath. The premise is simple: reach the summit of K8 in under three days and claim the prize. The reality is anything but.
Across the chronicle, expect deadly “accidents,” suspicious sabotage, and over-the-top set pieces that feel equal parts reality show, wilderness disaster movie, and classic slasher flick. As the contestants push higher into thin air and bad decisions, the question shifts from who will win to who will make it back down alive—if anyone does at all.

Slasher Flick "A Long Way Down" Chapter 2: The Mountain Bites Back
Wednesday Nov 13, 2019
Wednesday Nov 13, 2019
The first day on K8 was about ego, cameras, and chasing prize money. The second day is about survival. As the climbers push higher into thin air, the mountain finally answers back: shifting snow, unstable slopes, and a thunder of ice and rock that doesn’t care how many followers you have or how clean your record is.
Rivalries and petty sabotage suddenly feel very small when the route ahead is buried, the way behind is dangerous, and the safety of camp is no longer guaranteed. Smoke on the wind hints at new threats, and a half-forgotten campsite from decades past suggests that this is not the first time people have tempted fate on K8—and that the mountain keeps its own kind of history.
Between panicked scrambles for shelter, improvising survival plans, and the increasingly unhinged “advice” of an online thrill-seeker trying to turn disaster into content, the remaining contestants begin to understand: this competition isn’t just about who reaches the summit first. It’s about who the mountain will allow to stay on their feet at all.

Slasher Flick "A Long Way Down" Chapter 1: First to the Summit
Sunday Nov 10, 2019
Sunday Nov 10, 2019
High above the treeline, at the base of the infamous K8, a strange mix of competitors gathers for a brutal three-day race to the peak and a $75,000 prize. There’s the relentlessly driven athlete, the smug social-media daredevil, the zen mountain mystic, the overly relaxed hiker with her loyal St. Bernard, the beleaguered medic hauling far too much gear, and a stern coach who expects nothing less than perfection. Cameras roll, interviews are given, and even the motivational songs of Brian Brulee drift through the cold air as everyone jostles for an edge.
But K8 is not just another mountain, and the contest is not as simple as “fastest to the top.” Strange signs appear in the woods, odd traps lie hidden just off the trail, and something—or someone—seems to have prepared the climb for more than just sport. As the first day’s ascent begins, rivalries flare, egos collide, and the line between “extreme competition” and “deadly setup” starts to blur.
In this opening episode, Twin Cities by Night sets the stage for a slasher-style survival race where the only thing more dangerous than the mountain might be the people climbing it.

Demon: the Fallen "Fragments" Chapter 16: Blueprints of the Foundation
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
A quiet Sunday turns sharp. Over burnt coffee and nerves at Denny’s, the Fallen compare wounds—lawsuits, betrayals, and miracles that won’t stay hidden. A name from Ruth sends them to Howell & Phelps, an old Rochester firm that builds for faith. Behind a parlor tea service and antique blueprints, truth buckles: three apocalyptic visages fill an office, and a trembling partner confesses. “The Foundation” paid them to find a boy. Claire’s boy. Bishops were moved, papers were signed, and a child ended in a wall. A bargain is struck—serve the Fallen or face judgment—and new questions bloom like frost: is the Foundation calling angels from the Pit, and who’s really steering Rochester’s sacred stones?
About the Chronicle
Demon: The Fallen – Fragments is a Chronicles of Darkness story set in the early years of the new millennium, when the first of the Fallen return to the mortal world. Each prelude explores the awakening of a demon within its human host — charting the boundaries between redemption and ruin, grace and obsession.
