In What the Dead Remember, the facade finally cracks.
A single word, a single moment, is all it takes to expose what Marco Giovanni truly is beneath the measured civility and ritual grace. When the evening spirals into violence and revelation, Marco is forced to confront both the power he wields—and the ghosts it awakens.
Shaken by what he’s done, he finds himself drawn deeper into the shadow of his clan’s legacy. Between loyalty, guilt, and the cold comfort of family pragmatism, Marco learns that the line between the living and the dead is not as distant as he once believed.
This episode delves into the horror of self-awareness: when control becomes illusion, when loyalty demands blood, and when even the most composed predator discovers that something inside him still remembers what it means to be human.
About the Chronicle
“Eidolon” is the fourth major arc in the Twin Cities by Night Vampire: the Masquerade continuity — following Negligence, Homecoming, and Dread — yet it also stands alone as an introspective, horror-laced drama.
Set in the fall of 2010, Eidolon explores themes of death, obligation, and the unseen cost of power. The story follows Marco Giovanni, a necromancer drawn into the Twin Cities by the command of an elder, where he must expand his clan’s reach while contending with his own haunted past.
A duet chronicle between Adam (as Marco Giovanni) and Chris (as Storyteller), Eidolon continues Twin Cities by Night’s tradition of exploring the personal horror at the heart of Vampire: the Masquerade — this time, through the eyes of one man bound by ghosts both living and dead.

In By the Fire’s Edge, Marco Giovanni steps beyond ritual and obligation into something far more personal: confrontation. Summoned to meet Roman Dunsirn, a ghoul of immense age and complicated loyalty, Marco finds himself walking a razor’s edge between diplomacy and dominance.
What begins as a polite conversation soon becomes a silent test of control. In a city ruled by careful manners and hidden claws, even a word as small as boy can ignite the predator within. Beneath the warmth of a flickering fire, old loyalties fracture, and the tension between obedience and pride burns hotter than any flame.
This episode explores the subtle warfare of etiquette and the unspoken hierarchy of the Giovanni family—where family devotion is both salvation and curse, and where even quiet words can draw blood.

After weeks of grueling travel, the wagon train reaches its first true barrier: the wide, relentless sweep of the Mississippi. With no obvious ford in sight, the settlers are forced to halt, reorganize supplies, and decide how to risk everything on a crossing they can’t yet see. Gregory steps into a leadership role at camp, using his head for numbers and logistics to keep people busy, rations secure, and panic at bay.
While Bjorn rides north along the river in search of tracks, shallows, or any sign of a usable crossing, life in camp tightens into a tense waiting game. Sister Margaret finally gets a chance to tend to her battered feet at the water’s edge, only for a quiet moment of relief to be shattered when young Johan spots figures watching from the far bank—and fires a shot across the river to warn them off.
With nerves fraying and rumors of “savages” spreading quickly through camp, the line between caution and fear grows thin. As voices rise and guns are checked, Bjorn makes a choice: someone has to ride out and speak to whoever is watching from the western shore… before fear on either side turns the Mississippi into something much worse than just a river to be crossed.
About the Chronicle
Call of Cthulhu – Down Darker Trails: Missouri Crossing is a Western horror campaign set in 1867, using the Down Darker Trails supplement for Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition. The story follows the founding generations of Missouri Crossing, a rough camp town in what will one day become Bismarck, North Dakota—decades before the events of The Ultimate Evil. As immigrants, veterans, and drifters stake their claim on a cold, contested landscape, they must navigate community, lawlessness, prejudice, and the brutal realities of frontier life. Against this backdrop of manifest destiny, “northern horror” takes shape: long distances, bitter weather, scarce resources, and the creeping realization that some things lurking beyond the firelight are far worse than bandits or hunger.

Call of Cthulhu: Down Darker Trails "Missouri Crossing" Chapter 2: The Long Road West
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
The wagons finally roll out of Chicago, and the settlers of Missouri Crossing get their first true taste of frontier travel. In this episode, the group assembles on the south side of the city—families packing their final belongings, Jesuits securing their mission wagon, and Samuel Baker’s mostly–Black crew preparing the massive herd for the journey north. Amidst the bustle, friendships begin to form, tensions surface, and the reality of the months-long trek ahead settles in.
Gregory grapples with the weight of uprooting his family and the promise of work waiting in the Territories. Sister Margaret discovers that the hardships of walking, dust, and exhaustion are far harsher than she expected—yet the kindness of fellow travelers helps her endure. Bjorn steps into his new role as a drover, learning the rhythm of the cattle and carving out purpose for himself and his son as they leave the soot-choked city behind.
As campfires burn each night, quiet conversations reveal hope, fear, faith, and the ghosts each traveler carries. And along the way, rumors of hidden wealth, risky ventures, and a Wells Fargo coach bound for the frontier hint that Missouri Crossing may hold more than fresh beginnings.

The journey west begins under open sky and fading firelight. In the first episode of Missouri Crossing, the settlers—Gregory Smith and his family, Sister Margaret Miller, and Bjorn Haggman with his young son—make camp alongside the Jesuit mission and a herd of cattle bound for the Dakota Territories. As prairie music drifts through the darkness and families settle in for the night, an uneasy tension settles over the group. Something disturbs the horses. A strange scent rolls across the wind. And a single scream pierces the quiet, snapping the travelers awake and marking the end of peace on the trail.
What follows shifts back to the spring of 1867, where each settler’s final days in Chicago unfold—revealing the circumstances, hopes, and hard choices that push them toward the frontier. Episode one sets the tone for the long road ahead: a land of opportunity shaped by sacrifice, fear, and the quiet promise of something waiting just beyond the fire’s glow.

Delta Green “Project Echo” Final Chapter: The Heart Beneath the Concrete
Friday Jan 08, 2021
Friday Jan 08, 2021
With leads running out and the winter night closing in, the agents push deeper into the Echo housing project—into vacant units, locked doors, and the apartment of a grieving mother who knows far more than she should. What begins as a final sweep for a missing cop turns into a confrontation with something impossible that lives behind the walls and under the floors, forcing the team to choose between the truth, their orders, and simply making it out alive. When the dust settles and a single text comes in asking, “Did you find my dad?”, each of them has to decide what they can bear to say—and what must never be spoken of again.
About the Chronicle
Project Echo is a Delta Green scenario set in the winter of 2018, where a joint task force is assembled to uncover what happened to Roger Johnson, a disgraced Minneapolis police officer who vanished while obsessively investigating a double murder in the Echo Projects’ north building. Combining urban decay, cold Midwestern nights, and the slow burn of an investigation gone too far, the campaign explores what happens when a “friendly” stares too long into the unnatural—and what Delta Green is willing to risk to keep that truth from ever reaching the public.

Delta Green “Project Echo” Chapter 5: Where the Heart Is
Wednesday Jan 06, 2021
Wednesday Jan 06, 2021
As the night grinds on, the team splits their focus between steel and shadows. Paul and Douggee push deeper into the building’s underbelly, walking a tightrope of intimidation and desperation in a dealer’s apartment where one wrong move could turn the whole floor into a killing ground. Meanwhile, Kendra and Mick follow the fragile thread of memory to Marceline, a grieving mother whose worn-down home and quiet faith hide hard truths about the tragedy that haunts these halls. Over bowls of homemade chili and talk of “energies” that cling to the project, the agents begin to sense that whatever claimed Roger Johnson—and others before him—may already be standing in the next room.

Delta Green “Project Echo” Chapter 4: Rot in the Walls
Sunday Jan 03, 2021
Sunday Jan 03, 2021
As comms with Paul and Douggee cut out, Kendra and Mick are left circling the Echo housing project, watching the streets empty and the tension rise. Inside, Paul and Douggee push deeper into the building and uncover a hidden space that was never meant to be on the blueprints—part occult shrine, part listening post, saturated with the reek of death. A broken tenant and a volatile dealer might hold the keys to what’s rotting this place from the inside out, but every question the agents ask risks turning the whole building against them… or drawing out something far worse than the locals.

13th Age “The Beginning of the End” Chapter 2: The Serpent’s Path
Wednesday Dec 30, 2020
Wednesday Dec 30, 2020
As Sir Hugo’s makeshift band pushes deeper into Lord Frederick’s domain, the mission shifts from simple infiltration to surviving the estate itself. Ornate halls and opulent rooms hide lethal secrets, and what should be a noble’s home feels more like a carefully laid snare.
In this episode, the group navigates treacherous defenses, faces fanatical opposition, and is forced to make hard choices about how far they’re willing to go to stop a looming catastrophe. Tensions rise within the party as the true weight of their task begins to settle on their shoulders, and a new glimpse of the larger threat to Axis hints that the conspiracy runs deeper than any of them feared—without yet revealing exactly how.
About the Chronicle
The Beginning of the End is a 13th Age tale set during the waning years of a desperate empire. A small group of unlikely companions is thrust into a web of betrayal, demonic influence, and political decay as they try to prevent Axis from falling into enemy hands.
Blending character-driven storytelling, high-stakes intrigue, and the chaotic magic of 13th Age, this chronicle follows the same living-world continuity established in prior Twin Cities by Night adventures—while forging a path that leads into darker, far more dangerous territory.
